Festival Of Lights Berlin

Using the columns on the building, I created the imaginary Roman numeral 3, which illustrates the 3 decades since the fall of the Berlin Wall and the revolutions in Eastern Europe.
This number is bound by black and gray stripes, showing the severity, austerity and restrictiveness of the totalitarian regime in the arts. This tension causes the omnipresent energy that is on the edge of release, tearing by a figure who has no understanding for the limitations of art.
The victory sign on hand is used as a reference to one of the symbols of the Velvet Revolution in Czech Republic. Thanks to Festival of Lights for the oportunity and new experience!
